Feel better with a remedial massage.

Remedial massage can help you reduce aches and pains, rehabilitate an injury, recover from exercise better or simply relax your muscles and unwind.

A remedial massage treatment relieves musculoskeletal aches and pains, enhances recovery after exercise, and improves your general well-being. Regular massage can also help to manage pain from chronic conditions, assist rehabilitation following injury or surgery and promote relaxation.

My goal is to help you feel better, so you can get back to doing what you love.

What to expect from a remedial treatment with Kate.

Using my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and movement, I will use remedial techniques to bring about change and restore a healthy balance to your body. Every body is different, and my job is to work out what works best for your body. As a remedial massage therapist, I am trained in a range of techniques, including:

  • Sports Injury Massage

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Dry Needling

  • Myofascial Cupping

  • Dynamic and Functional Cupping

  • Post Surgery Massage

  • Trigger Point Release

  • Myofascial Release

  • Scar Tissue Massage

  • Lymphatic Massage

  • Mobilisations

  • Passive and Active Stretching

  • Diaphragm Release

Together, we can identify habits, postures and movements that might contribute to musculoskeletal issues. I can show you stretches, movements or exercises that will help you prolong the benefits of your massage treatment.

It is important to not only treat the areas where you are feeling pain or discomfort, but the surrounding muscles and connective tissues as well, making your massage treatment far more effective and leaving you feeling better for longer.

How does remedial massage help my body?

Remedial massage aims to establish balance in the muscles and soft tissues, addressing tension and maintaining optimal tone. This, in turn, supports healthy joints, capsular ligaments, and bone position. Massage increases blood and lymph flow, facilitating the elimination of blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesions that develop after injury or as a result of postural imbalances.
